I shoot. I cut. I make visual stories. My interest in visual storytelling began at an early age. I coveted the 50 feet (just under 3 minutes) of each Super 8 cartridge I could find. Later on, I wired two VHS machines together to create my first 'edit room.' I went on to study film at Wesleyan University in Connecticut and creative writing at Sarah Lawrence College in New York. My first 'real' job was as a camera assistant on NBC's 'ER.' On lunch breaks, I hung out in the edit rooms and got hooked on the post-production landscape. In the early aughts, I moved to New York and worked as a staff shooter and editor on series such as 'Live@VH1' and 'Tim Gunn's Guide to Style.' In 2009, I relocated to Portland, Oregon and opened The Old School, ltd., a multimedia production company with clients in the non-profit, civic and governmental sectors, as well as branded, commercial content in conjunction with North advertising agency. I joined AAAE as Videographer/Editor in March of 2024, and am excited to be part of a team creating useful and dynamic content for members and other stakeholders in the airports and aviation industry.
