Tanner Way holds the position of Coordinator, Training and Certification Programs at the American Association of Airport Executives. In this role, Tanner engages in ongoing and proactive collaboration with our members, offering support in their endeavors for continuous professional development. A distinguished alumnus of Southern Illinois University, Tanner graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, double minored in Airport Planning and Air Traffic Control. His academic achievements are exemplified by the distinction of Summa Cum Laude with Highest Honors. In addition to his academic prowess, Tanner is an accomplished private pilot with a flight history dating back to 2011. Prior to joining AAAE, Tanner held a position in Operations and Communications at Southern Illinois Airport - the third busiest airport in the State of Illinois. Tanner's diverse professional background spans data analysis, internal auditing, quality compliance, system development, graphic design, and marketing, making him a versatile asset in the aviation industry.
