While Jennifer Richards’ career has spanned a variety of roles in association management, her passion is working with members. Since joining AAAE in 2017, Jennifer's responsibilities include membership recruitment and retention, management of the AAAE member community The Hub, providing value to members through enhanced programs and benefits, and maintaining the data integrity in the AAAE member database. She is also the staff liaison to the Academic Relations Committee, the Young Professionals (YoPro) Committee, and the Academic Chapters. Jennifer is committed to working directly with members to help them succeed in their careers, and to helping the next generations of airport executives successfully enter the workforce. In 2020, Jennifer was recognized as one of Higher Logic’s 2020 Community Movers + Shakers for the exponential growth over its first year of the AAAE member community, The Hub. Prior to joining the team at AAAE, Jennifer worked at the National Association of Shell Marketers and the Satellite Broadcasting & Communications Association. Jennifer grew up in Boise, Idaho, and earned a dual Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and French from the University of Idaho. She lives in Stafford, Virginia, with her husband, son, daughter and Yellow Labrador.
