Sarah Pilli is Vice President, AAAE Services for the American Association of Airport Executives. Sarah joined AAAE’s security policy department in 2011 where she actively worked on behalf of AAAE membership to advance airport security priorities at the federal level by engaging directly with multiple program offices within the Transportation Security Administration, including the Office of Security Policy and Industry Engagement, Security Operations and Intelligence and Analysis, as well as the US Customs and Border Protection. She has participated in the In Depth Security Review working group as well as the Aviation Security Advisory Committee (ASAC), which is the sole federal advisory committee to TSA. In her current role within the AAAE Services organization, Sarah utilizes her aviation security policy expertise to help ensure AAAE’s service offerings respond to the specific needs of the airport industry. Prior to joining AAAE, Sarah provided legislative support and advocacy for numerous association clients at a nationwide public policy firm in Washington, DC. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA.
