Holly Ackerman has been with the American Association of Airport Executives since 1989, holding positions in the association’s meetings, publications and, most recently, global operations departments. In her current post as associate vice president, global operations, she works closely with the International Association of Airport Executives (IAAE), an affiliate group of AAAE, to bolster the international training, accreditation, conference and professional development options for airport professionals worldwide. Holly also plays a key role in securing and executing contracts with the U.S. Trade and Development Agency for international programs. Holly holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech, with a combined major in communications, marketing and psychology.
